The Cheese Store of Beverly Hills: Gourmet Sandwiches and Artisan Cheeses

Absolutely loved the cheese store! Everyone was super helpful and friendly! Lena helped us, she was very knowledgeable on all the cheeses- where they came from, what the region is like, what they are known for ( it was like wine tasting for cheese!). She gave us great cheese recommendations and let us try them. We bought cheese and then got a glass of wine and had sandwiches outside at the tables. It was overall a fabulous experience!

I was immediately impressed by the quaint, cozy décor and the abundant selection of cheeses and gourmet foods. The sandwiches were phenomenal, and most importantly, the customer service was exceptional! This is a place you will go back for more just to try all of their specialty items! They have been in business since 1967 for a reason!

The Cheese Store is definitely worth a visit - charming, cozy, and packed with delicious European products. Despite being a very small space that’s often crowded, the staff is friendly and surprisingly efficient. I ordered the Il Dominico and my wife had the La Zucca; both sandwiches were excellent and full of flavor. That said, they are on the smaller side for the price, and costs add up quickly - two bags of chips alone were over $13. Overall, very tasty and enjoyable, just be prepared to spend more than expected.

I came for the famous sandwiches and for cremeaux de bourgogne with truffles. The cheese is amazing, just like the one I had in Paris. I got the la Zucca sandwich but it was not for my taste. It has basil pesto, which I don't like and also a feta cheese sort of spread. It was not the right combination for me, but I shared it with someone and they loved it, so it's just me, not the sandwich The staff was kind and knowledgeable.

The sandwiches at The Cheese Store of Beverly Hills do in fact live up to the hype. Definitely some of the best I’ve ever had. My girlfriend and I split the La zucca and Il Domenico and they were really filling actually. I’ve never had a sandwich like the La Zucca and still find myself thinking about it and can’t wait to go back. They ended up being all out of the San Pellegrino that we paid for, so as an apology they brought us two other complimentary drinks (a different seltzer and an iced tea type drink I think) which was really nice. Seating was tight and it was very busy on a Saturday but worth it. 2 hours free parking in Beverly Hills city parking lots nearby!

I tried the Gourmand sandwich at the Beverly Hills Cheese Store, and it was very, very tasty. The brie cheese was rich, creamy, and clearly high quality—exactly what you’d expect from a place known for its cheeses. The price is definitely on the higher side ($18 for a sandwich), but the ingredients and freshness do justify it. What really stood out, though, was the excellent service. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made the experience feel special. Overall, a delicious but slightly pricey treat with top-tier service.

I have been wanting to try this place since it is so well known in the city. I got the cheese store club and the sandwich was pretty good but at the price you are getting I expected it to be bigger. In terms of its ingredients that is what you are essentially paying for as I liked the turkey they used. It wasn’t your typical deli turkey meat. It was the type of turkey you get on thanksgiving and was seasoned pretty well. I also liked how the bread had touches of flour still on it. If you are looking for a luxurious sandwich spot in this area then this is the place.

Five stars, no hesitation. The Cheese Store of Beverly Hills is the real deal. I had two sandwiches and both were absolutely incredible — the kind that make you stop mid-bite and just appreciate what you’re eating. And the cheese selection? Impeccable. Truly one of the best-curated shops I’ve ever walked into. If you love great food, this place is non-negotiable. Go. I highly recommend you order their Le Roti. This was a prime rib sandwich that was unbelievable and totally worth the price. It’s contender for my top sandwich for this year.
